Scope

One question we find ourselves answering time and time again "What's the scope of your asset searches?" So we'd like to take a moment to enlighten all of our customers. Contrary to popular belief, and what some other research companies may tell you, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A NATIONWIDE BANK SEARCH.

At Stuart Allan, we make sure to search all banks within a twenty-five mile radius of your subject's primary place of business, as well as all major banks in the state (Banking institutions with assets exceeding $20,000,000,000.00). We also utilize many other techniques that can uncover out of state banking institutions. However, we do not profess the search to be nationwide, although like many other research companies, technically we could. Remember, we can search any state in the union for you, we just only offer the primary residence state on a no-locate no charge basis.

The "Stock, Bond, and Mutual Fund Search" is far more like a nationwide search. We search all major brokerage houses in the country, about twenty-five in all, as well as 1500-2000 small to mid size firms. We also search the top twenty mutual find houses in the country. As all of these institutions have branches in just about every state, all of which have centralized accounting, we can call this a "nationwide search.”
